CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

MUAY THAI KICKBOXING

Led by Sensei Brayner Martinez, this class offers an organized system that will ensure your fitness and skills improve and that you learn authentic and practical skills. You will learn both offensive and defensive aspects of Muay Thai martial arts.


Classes are conducted in a disciplined, safe, positive and controlled environment. A typical Muay Thai Kickboxing class consists of a series of rounds: technique practice, shadow boxing, partner work, shield work, bag work and general fitness drills both one-on-one with the instructor and with other students.


You must have your own hand wraps, boxing gloves, and mouth guard to train in regular classes. Shin guards are required for intermediate classes. If you do not have these items, they can all be purchased before class. Membership rates are available on all equipment purchases.


FITNESS KICKBOXING 

A great class for beginners and advanced students alike, our Fitness Kickboxing classes provide a total body, high intensity workout. This workout is never boring and always motivational.


Our experienced trainers encourage students through rounds of plyometric, resistance and high power body movement exercises that utilize 100lb+ heavy bags, suspension equipment, kettlebells and body weight. The incorporation of boxing and kickboxing techniques up the game to increase the amount of calories burned. 


In these classes, you will work at your own pace to challenge yourself no matter what your skill level. The rewards of these classes are not only a better physique and improvement in strength, but also emotional balance, confidence and willpower.

BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is one of the most effective, reality-based fighting systems in the world. BJJ is focused primarily on effective ground fighting.

 

BJJ promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique, taking the fight to the ground – most notably by applying joint-locks and choke-holds to defeat the other person. BJJ training can be used for sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition or self-defense.


These classes are taught by Sensei Brayner Martinez, a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Marcos Santos, fifth degree black belt under Rigan Machado. 


You will be required to have or purchase a gi in gi class jiu jitsu.


KIDS MARTIAL ARTS AND FITNESS TRAINING

Kids Martial Arts and Fitness classes are designed to aid in your child’s ability to develop confidence, increase concentration, develop their own inner strength, pride and ability to learn more and achieve, as well as gain cardiovasocaular, flexibility and strength.


In each class, your child will learn and advance based at their individual pace. The classes become more challenging as they demonstrate skill, self-discipline, and the readiness to accept more complex skill challenges.


As your child learns each concept, they will develop self-esteem, greater self-disciple and self-confidence, developing key foundations that will assist them in their teen and adult life. 

Kids Martial Arts and Fitness classes focus specifically on martial arts forms, kicking and punching combinations, as well as cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training exercises using resistance bands, climbing ropes and obstacle challenges. 


Kids must have their own hand wraps, boxing gloves, mouth guards and shin pads to train in Martial Arts classes. All equipment can be purchased before class. Membership rates are available on all equipment purchases. Discounts rates are offered for siblings.


STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Our strength and conditioning classes provide a total body, high intensity workout that use both conditioning and strength training practices to increase general strength, endurance, power, balance and focus. In these classes, you will engage in plyometric, resistance, and high power body movement exercises that emphasize explosive physical movement and high threshold interval training. 


Conditioning classes utilize body weight, bungee, kettlebell and resistance bands for a full body workout. Conditioning classes are great for those looking to up their game in their practiced sport or get in better shape and feel better about their body and fitness level.


RUNNING

Our endurance running and speed training class utilizes the outdoors in order for students to engage in hill sprints, sprint intervals, plyometric training, body weight strength training, and endurance tempo runs. Built to accommodate any age and fitness level, our running and speed training program is great for advanced runners seeking a personal PR in their next race, those looking to increase their pace time, those looking to increase their cardio or endurance strength, or even those seeking a fun and fast-paced class that uses a variety of training circuits to improve their overall endurance fitness.


OPEN MAT

Students are invited to use our open mat space to practice their individual training techniques, with a coach serving as an overseer for maximum safety practices. Invite a friend and come practice your grappling, boxing, or various athletic performance movements. 


FAMILY CLASS

Parents and kids are able to work as a team to encourage mutual strength, bonding and increased interaction. This class utilizes the methods and practices of both our adult and kids’ fitness classes to provide a combination class including core concepts of mixed martial arts, kickboxing, and strength training.


Classes are designed to aid in your child’s ability to develop confidence, increase concentration, develop their own inner strength and ability to learn more and achieve! Our family class provides a safe and positive space in which parents can emphasize the importance of family fitness and self-discipline that leads to an increased ability to handle many of life’s challenges.


In each class, children and parents will learn and advance based on their individual pace and skill level. The classes become more challenging as both kids and parents demonstrate increased skill, self-discipline, and the readiness to accept more complex skill challenges.
